For children growing up in bilingual families, this playful edition turns a simple colouring session into a joyful moment of creativity and language growth, side by side with a parent.
We know how busy life gets for Polish families in the UK, and how easily the minority language can slip to the back of the queue after a long school day. That is why DRAW ME keeps things light and welcoming. While your child colours, doodles and invents, you can chat about the pictures, name the colours and tell little stories together. Creativity comes first, and language follows naturally, without pressure and without a worksheet in sight.
For teachers in polskie szkoły sobotnie w UK, this activity book is a friendly companion for lessons too. It works beautifully as a warm-up task, a calm finishing activity or a conversation starter that gets children talking about their own drawings. It supports dwujęzyczność by giving children a relaxed, happy reason to use Polish while their hands are busy and their imaginations are wide open.
Keeping język polski jako drugi alive at home does not need to feel like extra homework. A few minutes with crayons, a shared giggle over a silly drawing and a chat about the picture in Polish can do wonders for a child's confidence. DRAW ME - activity book for coloring fits gently into everyday family life and into edukacja polonijna, helping children build a warm, personal bond with język polski as well as with their heritage. Whether your child is just starting out with język polski jako obcy or already chats away happily, this book meets them where they are and invites them to create something all their own.
