History and Patriotic Books for Children Growing Up in Exile

For children living abroad, learning about Polish history can sometimes be a challenge. Therefore, we recommend books and playful learning materials that will help bilingual children learn about Polish history and the complexities of the Polish state. Useful for holidays like November 11th – National Independence Day, Independence Day, and the adoption of the May 3rd Constitution.

In our bookstore, you'll find books for all ages – for the youngest, we recommend learning through play, coloring pages, stickers, and rhymes, and for older children, we recommend illustrated series that introduce the history of Poland and profiles of famous Poles.

We especially recommend the following series and categories:

Learning about Polish history – here you'll find a wide selection of materials useful in conversations about Poland

Learning about Polish culture – learn about Polish customs and traditions

I love Poland – a beautifully illustrated series of albums about the history of the Polish state

My name is – here you'll find books about famous Poles, among others, written especially for children in a very accessible format and in simple language
