‘His Secret Power Part 2’ is a continuation of the story of the charming polish dumpling - Pieróg Włodek. This time we follow him on his journey to Poland, learning what his secret power means to him, and to others whom he meets on his way. It’s a tale about friendship, endless possibilities, and summertime in Poland.
This bilingual book, similar to the previous part, is written with a twist. To imitate the world of the Polish families living abroad, most of the story is written in English, leaving the Polish language sections in the minority. However, these Polish sentences are crucial to the story line, and only by learning and understanding them, will young readers truly appreciate the meaning of this delightful tale.
Like its predecessor, this innovative project helps to gradually introduce the Polish language to young English-speaking readers, and encourages them to learn simple words and expressions. It also has a visual dictionary, which is an exciting way to reinforce newly learnt words.
