The textbooks contain materials aligned with the core curriculum for students studying outside Poland and were developed specifically for Saturday schools.
The series of history textbooks created by Witold Bobiński for Polish schools is the first and only attempt on the publishing market to address the needs and specifics of teaching children and young people in schools outside Poland. Developed to a high standard of content and editing, the series was developed by a team of experienced educators and editors, in collaboration with teachers from Polish schools in Chicago. Its creators aimed to present over a thousand years of history of the Polish nation, its greatest successes and achievements, and its contribution to the development of civilization in an engaging and accessible way.
They were guided by the belief that it is impossible to understand the world around us without remembering our ancestors and understanding our country's past. All textbooks include numerous illustrations, maps, and plans, a Polish-English glossary of difficult terms, and a set of exercises for each lesson.
