Franek is an ordinary sixteen-year-old. Until then. One day, he's kidnapped and wakes up in a hotel room in an exotic country, where he's forced to watch faces scroll across a screen for half the day. Why Who's watching him It turns out the boy has a powerful module hidden within him. He's the "First One" – a selected fragment of code, or rather, a cheat, with which he can, completely unaware, decide the fate of the world. He becomes a pawn in the game between two powerful corporations: World Enterprise and Smart Creation. Meanwhile, a cosmic threat – the asteroid 2020 QG Elephant – approaches Earth. The key to defeating it or hastening catastrophe lies in Frank's encounter with the "Second One." A dynamic and suspenseful novel that captivates with the power of a perfectly designed gameplay. This is a book about the Creator and a game about the "truth" of the world, and the philosophical layer is intertwined with the mystery, adventure, and intrigue itself.
These books are books in which teenage readers will discover a world very close to them: the dilemmas, joys, and sorrows of characters who are their peers. Every young person who has already experienced their first taste of adulthood will undoubtedly be able to easily identify with them.
You'll find novels here by well-known and lesser-known Polish authors of young adult literature. There are both contemporary books and those first published, even decades ago. But don't be discouraged. The qualities of youth and the sensitivity specific to teenage years are, after all, unchanging. The characters' experiences, their extraordinary adventures, and sometimes breathtaking adventures can completely enchant anyone, regardless of their current age.
